Brie gained a large following on Instagram under the username @briestrongerthancancer, where she and her parents shared her difficult journey with illness. Her videos and photos inspired hundreds of thousands of followers with her strength, faith, and positivity, even as her health continued to decline.
She was first diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2020 when she was just four years old. Although she was briefly declared cancer-free in 2022, the disease returned in January 2024. Due to increasing pain and complications, Brie chose to remain at home and entered hospice care in July 2025.
Following her death, the family shared a deeply emotional message, writing: “You are the miracle. Your purpose on this earth was fulfilled, and it was a sacred privilege to walk you ‘home.’ You brought people closer to God, showed us that the world is good, and your light shined in every corner of it. We love you forever.”
During her fight, Brie received overwhelming support and heartfelt gifts from people around the world, including a special package from singer Ariana Grande, who sent her Wicked-themed items—one of Brie’s favorite things.
Her followers described Brie as a powerful source of strength and inspiration. Her family has said they will continue sharing her story so her legacy lives on, reminding others of the courage, faith, and joy she brought into so many lives.
