Second woman accuses U.S. Anglican Church archbishop of sexual harassment

A second woman has come forward with allegations against Archbishop Stephen Wood, head of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), claiming that he sexually harassed her. The new accusation follows an earlier case that has already caused turmoil within the conservative denomination, which was founded in the early 2000s after splitting from the Episcopal Church over disagreements about same-sex relationships.

Following the allegations, Archbishop Wood has taken a paid administrative leave while church leaders conduct an internal investigation. The growing scandal has raised serious questions about how religious institutions handle misconduct allegations and the moral accountability of their leadership.
