His Online Presence
Whyte had built a strong following on TikTok, where he shared dance videos, music content, and motivational posts. His positive style and charismatic personality attracted over 100,000 followers. One of his final videosโ€”posted just hours before the shootingโ€”gained attention after his death, as many described it as tragically emotional in hindsight.

Breakthrough in the Case and New Indictments
On February 9, 2026, the Monmouth County Prosecutorโ€™s Office announced a seven-count indictment against three individuals connected to Whyteโ€™s killing. The suspectsโ€”Dwayne Exilus (19), Isaiah Walker (19), and Jahbron Goff (18)โ€”were charged with multiple offenses, including conspiracy to possess a firearm unlawfully, unlawful possession of weapons, and obstruction-related crimes

The Most Serious Charges
Among the three, Jahbron Goff faces the most severe allegations. In addition to weapons charges, he is specifically indicted for first-degree murder in connection with Whyteโ€™s death. Originally treated as a juvenile during early stages of the investigation, Goff was later waived up to adult court due to the gravity of the offense.

What Happens Next
This latest indictment marks a major development after more than seven months of intensive investigation by local authorities. All three defendants will now proceed through the court system, where they remain presumed innocent until proven guilty. Meanwhile, Whyteโ€™s family, friends, and followers continue to honor his memory online, sharing tributes for the young creator whose life ended far too soon.
