Just a day after announcing their split, the pair reunited in Atlanta to celebrate their daughter Blaze’s 6th birthday. The party, held at Ready, Set FUN!, had a magical Snow White theme, and a photo shared with PEOPLE showed the three smiling together. Despite the emotional week, both parents appeared committed to giving their little girl a joyful and united celebration.
Both Kandi and Todd posted separate birthday tributes on Instagram. Kandi called Blaze her “little twin,” praising her strength, creativity, and big personality. Todd also shared a heartfelt message, saying Blaze warms his heart every time he sees her and reminding her how deeply she is loved.
The celebration happened just 24 hours after Kandi confirmed to TMZ that she and Todd are moving forward with a divorce after 11 years of marriage. She explained that the decision came after deep reflection and prayer, adding that her focus now is on peace and co-parenting with love and respect. Sources close to the pair say the separation has been in place for a few months and that the split is completely amicable, with no drama involved.
Kandi has been spending more time in New York City for work, while Todd has remained in Atlanta with the kids. The two first met on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” back in 2011, got engaged a few years later, and officially tied the knot in 2014. Even though their marriage has come to an end, it’s clear they are still dedicated to supporting their family together.
